We begin with French raw materials oak-tanned in the most traditional methods. The coloring is then applied by hand-sponging vegetable dyes onto the leather according to a centuries-old Tuscan technique that was rediscovered by Mario Bosca in the 1970’s. Each skin is then ironed to produce a deep and varied color that allows the hide’s natural features to show through.
